Drive Paddle’s company-wide technical vision for our platform and backend architecture. You’ll act as the technical authority for foundational architectural decisions, leading multi-year, cross-department initiatives that shape how we design, build, and operate highly scalable, reliable, and secure systems. This role is ideal for someone who blends deep distributed systems expertise with strategic thinking.
The Sr Software Engineer works independently or leads teams of 2-4 people responsible for application design, development, testing, and problem resolution work teams with significant autonomy and independence, including system enhancements to major system projects. As an experienced developer and a beginning technical leader the position receives regular mentoring, feedback, and supervision by senior technical staff and management on team leadership skills.
